Adobe anounces new deal with Google and Yahoo to enhance search engine indexing of the Flash file format (SWF) and uncover information that is currently undiscoverable by search engines.
This is great new and the anouncement continues
This will provide more relevant automatic search rankings of the millions of RIAs and other dynamic content that run in Adobe Flash Player. Moving forward, RIA developers and rich Web content producers won’t need to amend existing and future content to make it searchable — they can now be confident it can be found by users around the globe.
Actually, this way on of the main anrguments against incorporating RIA frameworks into Large scale and Enterprise projects. That’s good new for the Flex community as well although IMHO the main reason for the bias against RIA from traditional Server Side bread with the MVC pattern programmers is that they feel a little reluctant and their afraid of the learning curve. Not to mention the slow adoption of RIA desing patterns like SOFEA and SOUI.
